Word of the Day: alto
Translation: stop
Pronunciation: all-toe

Everything is relative. There are a lot of ways to say “stop” in both Spanish and English and one man’s “halt” is another man’s “detened.” Best to keep it simple. If something is going wrong right in front of you can just scream in pain really, really loud. Or you can say “Alto!” Either way.
